Rappers going and coming out of jail!

This year has been a year for Celebs either entering rehab or being incarnated. Lil Wayne just came out of prison and now T.I. is back in. I thought he was a changed man (we were so wrong). Needless to say, own up to your responsibilities and set an example for your children and fans. I hope tip when you come back out think twice about your probation.

Celebrity Mothers To Be

I must say this has definitely been another year of celebrity baby booms! Congratulations to Christina Milian, Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys and now Ms. Mariah Cannon (Oops, Carey). Don't you think the mother to be should change her name?wink!

Drake's Debut Album Numero Uno!

Congrats to Drizzy for having the #1 album in the country. Drake is killing it right now and Over is #1 on the billboard rap charts. His album sold more than 446,000 copies in its first week and making it one of the biggest debuts in the year along with Sade and Lady Antebellum. Drizzy definitely has a lot of reasons to celebrate because his MTV documentary airs tonight and he will be on Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel this week. This is his year and no one can take his shine!

Celebrity Reality Shows!

Is it me or every celebrity is coming out with a reality show? We have three new up and coming reality shows coming soon. Trey Songz, Toni Braxton and Lala Vazquez are all coming out with reality shows this summer and fall. I'm not knocking anyone for their hustle to continue with their fame, but networks no longer have original programs. Trey Songz will have a BET ten part documentary series entitled Trey Songz: My Moment and Toni Braxton's Bravo show Braxton Family Values. Lala will have a VH1 reality show about her up and coming wedding to NBA player Carmelo Anthony. I love reality television and as long as these shows are positively influential i will tune in. I am not too worried because none of these celebs are dramatic. Good luck to each of them.

Tiny and Toya Season 2: Finale

Tonight is the finale of Tiny and Toya Season 2 and i am sad that it is ending. This is truly one of the most positive reality shows on television. Tiny and Toya are not only best friends, but mothers/independent women that are trying to further their careers with no limits. It has been a great season and tonight are the last two episodes with a 2011 spin-off show of Toya's life. Will Toya be able to overcome her fear of hosting Tiny's Alzheimer benefit concert? Will the OMG Girlz prove to themselves and the world that they are destined to be the best? Will Tiny's Procrastination finally catch up to her? Tune in to all find out and more at 10pm on BET.

Drake:Better Than Good Enough

On wednesday June 23, 2010, MTV will premiere a one hour documentary of rapper Drake. It chronicles the rapper's rise to fame and creative process of his debut album. "Better than Good Enough" also shows a vulnerable side of drake that chronicles his relationships with his friends and family. It is definitely a must-see moment. I wish the documentary was more than an hour because not only does it look very good, but i would love to see more of his personal life. I saw a few sneak peeks of the special and Drake is definitely one man to watch. I am very proud of him for all his accomplishments. Don't forget to tune in on june 23rd at 10pm on MTV.http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1641587/20100615/drake.jhtml

Drake NYC Meet and Greet!

Today, a rapper by the name of Drake had history in the making. Fans were lined up outside to meet the "unstoppable" hours before his Best Buy Union Square appearance. Many teenagers and adults were extremely excited to meet young lion. His first debut album "Thank Me Later" hit music stores nationwide and many did not wait to buy the album. There was a some organization, but everything went according to plan and fast-paced with the crowd. Drake is a sweetheart and i was very happy to meet him and some of his friends. TML is the soundtrack of your life and summer and i can't tell you how many times i have played the album. This album is in heavy rotation and is one of the best albums of the year! Drake is an artist that many can listen to and relate to in life experiences. I went to the free concert at South Street Seaport and was very disappointed by the audience. Thank you for ruining what could've been one of the best moments of your life. On another note, support drake and buy Thank Me Later! Mazel Tov Drizzy and Congrats!

Fans waiting to purchase TML!

Best Buy Union Square in NYC was having a special event for drake fans. At 12:01 am, fans were able to purchase Thank Me Later at the store. It took a while for us fans to purchase the album, but it was worth the wait as we got a surprise. Some men strolled along the sidewalk asking questions about the line, and as it turned out it was none other than Drake's friends. Drake drove up to the middle of the street with his beautiful smile as screaming fans were approaching his car. I was definitely one of those fans that joined in and i met future(drake's dj) along the way. Drake is lucky to have to such great friends.

Dreams Becoming Reality!

To anyone who has a dream don't let that dream be deferred. We all have to take risk and no matter what that risk is, we sometimes can't be afraid. If presidents Clinton and Obama can do it then so can us. Dreams are real and it is what you make of it. Whether you are a musician, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur follow those dreams because you are the ones that have to live up to it. I wish good luck to anyone that is trying to accomplish their goals. My upcoming songwriter cousin Trae Widow you are a star in the making!

All About Me!

Allow me to introduce myself my name is Whitney AKA Miss411. Since i was a child, the entertainment world has been an interest of mine. During my HS years, I always went to concerts, music countdown shows and meet and greets. I have a passion for this industry that goes beyond greater that many may think. My career goal is to not only become a blogger, but a production assistant and producer. I started this blog as another source to express my love for entertainment, and to share the latest news. I am always on the go finding new ways of catching up on celeb news. I know almost all the current celebrity news(it's true). I have a bachelor's degree in Mass Media. This was a big step, but what better way to do it! Life is all about risk! Thanks for all the love and support.

Hot 97 Summer Jam 2010

On Sunday June 6, 2010, the biggest concert of the year took place. Hot 97's summer jam was jam packed with artists, musicgoers, groupies etc. The things that i saw were crazy, but not a surprise at all. It was my second time attending the concert and i was definitely not disappointed. All the artists brought out surprises, but Drake, Nicki, Trey, Fab and ludacris were the biggest moments of the night. All the artists were great, but i felt those that i mentioned above outshined everyone else (correct me if i'am wrong). I felt that drake was cheated out of his set because it was too short. He is one of the two most anticipated artists (nicki minaj) and he should've atleast been second to last. I'am huge drake fan since his degrassi days and he is so real it's not even funny. Nicki killed it by shutting down the whole meadowlands with appearing on four different sets. She is definitely the biggest female rapper we've had in a long time (can't wait until the album drops). Trey had the ladies going crazy and the things that he did on stage were out of this world. He did one for the books! I could go on and on for hours about every performer, but i'm going to save that for next time. Congrats to all the artists that made summer jam a great success!
